The Writer's Journey Pledge

It was almost a year ago since I have last written. Once again I have let the rush of life distract me from the things I want to do. These last two weeks I've taken steps forward to chase after some of my crazy ideas, but I realized I needed to look at past projects as well.

I started this blog to work on my writing and to allow others to submit works to a safe space. Along the way I got distracted and it set me back on my writer's journey I had hoped to set out on. Although I am working on writing some works down on paper first, I do want to come back to the blogging format to share ideas, focus my creative projects as a whole and just stay in touch with anyone who may want to read about my day to day adventures.

So as of today I'm pledging to myself that I will write in this blog at least once a week. I will write to inform, to entertain, to work on my craft and above all to keep my writer's spirit alive. The Incidental Scribe writes again , but this time I know I will be more aware of the promise I'm making to keep writing so I do not lose my creative voice.

Stay tuned readers for news about upcoming creative projects like a crafts store called The Knotty Hobby Corner, streamlining my VoodooSounds media presence, my tell all poems and short stories anthology and possibly transforming DJ Fedora into an entire Event Planning business, the name is still yet to be determined. So yes, so many exciting things and stories to tell.
